I am passionate about helping students achieve their goals, and my background in SAT/ACT tutoring, editing, and teaching provides me with the skills and knowledge to help your student succeed. As editor of the NC College Guide, I  communicated with colleges and students across the state to expand an my knowledge of the regional college landscape. I attended many of the local colleges, graduating cum laude from programs at Meredith College, Duke University, and NC State University.

As a parent who has gone through the application process with my own son, I am aware of the overwhelming amount of information and decisions parents and students face, from financial choices, to academic and personal preferences. With a knowledgeable coach, parents and students can work through this challenging process to find the “right fit” for a student’s post-secondary education.

In addition to learning test prep strategies as an SAT tutor, I have worked one-on-one with hundreds of students over the years on both test preparation and the college application process. Clients benefit from my editing background as well as my teaching experience as I coach students  through crafting personal narratives for college applications.

My goal is to make this challenging time a beneficial and productive time for your family to prepare for the future. I look forward to working with your student!
